The Revenue Performance Diagnostic — a structured review for B2B sales teams
About Revenue Performance Partners

Closing the gap between sales strategy and frontline execution.

Revenue Performance Partners was created to help B2B sales organisations move beyond one-off training and build the capability, management discipline and operating rhythm needed for more consistent performance.

Sales leaders rarely lack ambition. The challenge is turning commercial priorities into repeatable seller and manager behaviour.

Why we exist

Most sales performance problems are not solved by another training day.

Sales teams often receive good training, clear targets and new tools, yet performance remains inconsistent. The issue is rarely a lack of effort. More often, the organisation has not connected capability, management, process, reinforcement and measurement.

Revenue Performance Partners exists to close that gap.

01
Training is often disconnected from the real performance constraint.
02
Managers are expected to reinforce new behaviours without being equipped to coach them.
03
Commercial strategy is not always translated into practical frontline execution.
Our point of view

Revenue performance is a system.

Performance is influenced by connected elements — pipeline, qualification, opportunity management, seller capability, manager coaching, sales process, CRM adoption, reinforcement, operating rhythm and measurement. Improvement comes from working on the constraint, not treating every symptom at once.

Consistent revenue performance

The principles behind the work.

01
Diagnose before prescribing

The visible symptom is not always the root cause.

02
Build around real work

Development should connect to live pipeline, opportunities, conversations and management rhythms.

03
Managers multiply capability

Seller development is more likely to last when managers reinforce the same expectations.

04
Keep it practical

Frameworks must be usable in the real sales environment.

05
Reinforce the change

One-off training rarely creates sustained performance improvement.

06
Measure what matters

Enablement should connect to adoption, behaviour and relevant commercial indicators.

Founder

Built by someone who understands the gap between commercial strategy and frontline execution.

James King is a sales enablement and commercial operations leader with experience designing performance programmes, building coaching frameworks, improving sales process adoption and supporting hundreds of sellers and managers.

His career has spanned sales enablement, sales operations, manager development, CRM adoption, playbook development and commercial performance — with a particular focus on translating revenue objectives into practical frontline execution.

Before moving into senior sales enablement and operations roles, James built and sold his own business, giving him direct experience of growth, commercial pressure and business ownership. Clients work directly with James throughout the engagement, from diagnosis and programme design through to delivery and review.

What clients can expect

Senior support without the layers of a large consultancy.

01
Direct involvement

Clients work directly with the founder throughout the engagement.

02
Practical delivery

The work is built around the real sales environment.

03
Clear scope

Engagements are agreed through a written proposal with defined responsibilities and delivery.

04
Honest recommendations

Training is not recommended when the evidence suggests a different intervention is needed.

We work best with sales leaders who want practical change, not another isolated initiative.

A strong fit
  • Established B2B sales teams
  • Leaders prepared to involve managers
  • Businesses willing to use real performance evidence
  • Teams open to practical coaching and reinforcement
  • Organisations seeking consistency rather than short-term motivation
  • Companies prepared to connect enablement to commercial priorities
Where we may not be the right fit
  • A request for a generic motivational keynote
  • A one-off workshop with no manager involvement or follow-up
  • A desire for guaranteed revenue results
  • A requirement to impose a new methodology without diagnosis
  • Consumer or retail sales training outside the agreed B2B focus

Let's identify what better performance requires.

Discuss your sales organisation, current priorities and where execution is inconsistent. We will help determine whether the right next step is diagnosis, coaching, manager development or ongoing enablement support.
